How to Tell If the Soil Can Use Excavator Earth Auger to Drill a Hole?
If there are pebbles in the soil, it will not affect the drilling, because the screw blade can rotate it out of the soil surface, and if the content of the soil in the sandy layer is more than 35%, the drilling can be done. If there are broken bricks in the soil, they can be drilled out completely, or crushed by the drill teeth in front of the screw blades. If it is a sand layer, the soil content greater than 35% will not affect the drilling work.
